Gold Charms

Gold charms, like all charms, are traditionally associated with luck. These come in many different forms. Today, the term is commonly used to describe little trinkets that are attached to bracelets. Such a jewelry piece will be described as a charm bracelet.

Of course, there are numerous other forms of gold charms. For instance, they may come as amulets, touch pieces, pendants, and pins. They have been valued throughout history because they were associated with many different powers. Some were believed to cure disease, others to protect their wearers from evil forces, still others for simple good luck.

The gold charms of current times may have similar associations. However, it is much more common that they simply are meant to reflect different interests of the wearer or aspects of his or her life. The different birthstones of a parent's children is one example. Another example would be to have the bracelet made up of different painting supplies for an artist or different animal breeds for a pet enthusiast.
