Gold Rings

Gold rings have been prized for many applications. The precious metal used to create these jewelry items has been considered precious since long before recorded history. While the material is much more widely available today than it was in previous times, it is still among the most valued ornamental metals.

Traditionally, gold rings have symbolized two concepts. The first has to do with the original rarity of the material. Such a ring represents worth and value, which is why it is common choice for wedding rings. Its second meaning is that of purity. Again, this also enhances its value as a marriage symbol. Of course, it has also been associated with many other concepts by different cultures over different time periods.

Gold rings can of course be used for other purposes. For instance, one may be a mother's ring. These designs include a birthstone for each of her children. Class, promise, engagement, and friendship rings are other common styles available.
